自2010年北京英语试卷纳入新课标卷范畴以来，北京卷的英语试题从结构上来说，基本稳定，分别包含了听力（包含听写）、单项选择、完形填空、阅读理解、阅读题空、情景作文和开放作文等7个部分，满分150分。不过，今年北京卷的英语试题出现了一个较大的变动，在客观题目类型和分值不变的情况下，作文部分改为应用文写作和情景作文，分值分别为15分和20分。北京新东方优能中学名师陶然表示，这种变化对于2014年的北京考生而言，应该算是利好的消息。一是因为应用文写作为高一的写作重点，考生从高一就开始接触这类作文写法；二是全国多数省份高考英语试卷写作部分均为应用文写作，所以考生在考前的复习资料相对较为丰富。

从应用文的出题角度来看，应用文包括书信、通知和演讲稿，全国多数省份考察的重点均为书信的写法，今年北京的英语试卷也延续了这一传统，考察的为道歉信。这类书信应该重点关注格式规范、语气合理及交际感强等三个方面。

众所周知，应用文写作的格式非常重要，前面应该有称呼，开头有寒暄的句子，结尾有礼貌用语，最后必须出现落款。若题目中开头结尾已给出，那么需要在答题纸上再写一遍，否则会相应扣除一定分数。道歉信的语气为诚恳，因此推荐学生在写作中出现sincerely, from the bottom of my heart等词汇。若在写作中，语气不合适，作文的分数应该在12分以下。除了上面提到了两个注意事项之外，各位考生在写道歉信的时候，尤其要留心语言使用。陶然不建议考生在应用文写长难句，或者语法结构过于复杂，用词太偏的句子。这类作文重视的交际感，即与收信人的沟通，所以陶然建议考生在写作时，可以使用短小精炼的句子，用词不见得非得多么难，只要准确，达到交流的要求即可。只要满足了这几个方面，相信各位考生的应用文写作分数应该会比较客观。

北京卷从2002年开始自主命题，而且从第一次命题起，情景作文就是北京高考英语试卷中最为与众不同的部分。在过往的12年题目中，除了2004年和2006年之外，其它年份的情景作文全部考察的是4幅图的记叙文写作，今年也不例外。从主题上来讲，今年北京卷考察了“社会热点”这一主题，体裁为“稿件”，这些内容全部都是之前写作部分的重点复习内容，相信考生在处理的时候应该并不陌生。与应用文写作不同，情景作文重点关注的是开篇精彩、中篇清晰、尾部饱满三个方面。

今年的情景作文与往年一样，开头第一句话已给出，这就意味着，考生在写作时，应该在答题纸上再抄一遍。一定要切记，开篇部分千万不要出现语法错误，而且开篇前四行，或者首幅图一定要出现漂亮的，震撼考官的词汇和句型。这样，会让考官眼前一亮，给考官留下好的印象。进入到正式描图的环节时，考生要将每幅图的要点清晰点出，用词精准，不要让考官出现猜词或者特别努力找词的情况，今年四幅图的要点词应该分别“发现问题”，“写建议”，“找校长提建议”和“问题得到解决”。考官找到要点和细节的时间与这篇作文的最终得分一般来讲呈现反比。最后的是结尾的部分，高考情景作文对于结尾的要求是“有结尾加分，没有结尾不扣分，推荐考生写一个结尾”。所以，在时间和篇幅允许的情况下，还是希望考生扣一个结尾的。结尾要注意的是紧扣主题，过于宽泛的结尾，一般来讲并不会得到考官的认可。只有结尾回归到本篇作文的身上，呼应作文“社会热点”的主题，这样的结尾才是有价值的。

陶然提醒考生注意，今年北京卷作文的答题纸从往年的20行减为15行，无形之中限定了学生的写作字数。这种情况，一定要切记千万别超字数，一旦写在答题纸之外，会相应减分。

今年北京高考的英语试卷，除了作文部分之后，其他部分的题目难度和考点设置与往年基本一样。

听力部分。难度不大，听写部分出现了数字、人名及middle, Dance, post等词。考生应注意人名和Dance的大小写，否则会失分。

单项选择的部分，仍旧重点考察了时态和语态、非谓语动词、三大从句、情态动词、虚拟语气、介词等考点。与往年略有不同的是非谓语动词的部分，考察了being done的用法，这个结构在往年的题目中并没有做过多涉及，所以对于各位考生而言略有难度。除此之外，其它题目没有难点。

完形填空的文章内容为一个小女孩在学校总被人嘲笑，“我”帮助女孩的故事，与往年完形一样，仍旧考察与考生生活相关的记叙文。题目考查数量为动词9题，名词5题，形容词3题，副词1题，连词1题，介词1题。考生在处理时，要重点关注名词的复现和具体对应，动词的先后顺序及词义分析，形容词与副词的感彩等解题方法，今年的完形题目中只有一道题目需要考生重点分析，及that表示“那么”这个意思，略有难度。

阅读理解的部分，分别考察了应用文、记叙文、说明文和议论文四种文体。应用文考察的是“博物馆介绍”，记叙文讲的是“父亲与熊搏斗”的故事，议论文讨论的是“我们不应该只关注结果，还应该关注过程，制定可行方案”这一话题，说明文提到的是“气味可以促进销售”。从题目设置上来说，前两种文体重点关注了细节题的操作，而后两种问题则从文章的主旨、篇章布局、整体归纳等角度进行考察。值得注意的是说明文的最后一题，本题为考察文章写作目的，不过选项与往年不同，不再以句子形式出现，而是通过个别词汇，让考生判断文体，进而进行解题。总的来说，今年的阅读理解比较简单，没有偏题和难度出现。

最后一个项目为阅读填空，即七选五。延续了2013年七选五的题目难度，今年七选五的文章主题为“建议”，题目难度不大，只要在阅读文章和选项时，能够抓住段落大意和选项句意，按照时态法、复现法、代词法、排比结构等方法解题即可。

总的来说，2014年北京高考英语试卷的难度与往年持平，命题思路清晰，题目设置合理，相信各位考生应该能发挥出自己的水平，顺利通过考试。

1.反押题：此次作文，依旧没有考察“热点”的“环境、文化、网络”等大话题，而是“平民草根、接地气”;

I grew up in a small town until I was 18 and then moved to a big city, so I have experienced the good and bad sides of both. I never thought that I would like living in a big city, but I was wrong. However, you seldom find such a variety of people in a smaller town. I think that living in an area where everyone was just like me would quickly become dull. Of course, safety should be considered, and that’s one area where small towns are better than big cities. Still, I would rather be a bit more careful and live in a large city than to feel safe but dull.
