以上1、2、3、4点是本文的第一句话，从中可以推断出主角大概是David Williams，

因为有括号里的强调内容，全文可能跟有关。

第5、6点可以明确和主角是本文的主要内容，但考试中完全可以忽略不看。

第7点把文章要说的故事点明了。

第三段和第四段前面的几句都可以不必看，直接看第四段最后一句和A项的第一句，必须读懂。

（在考试中看到这对应的词先填上继续做后面再分析）

特别要注意such，上文一定要有对应的内容。

第四段让他出示证明才能进，而A项说没证明也照样进。所以逻辑上能衔接。

解这题只要发现两个词就能锁定答案了：lure和will因为这在第5段最后一句和B项 luring和his will operative呼应了，但考官做了巧妙的掩饰。

文章段落六

段落6只是在解释\\”pathological gambling\\”是什么，讲的不多，所以线索相对也就少了。那么在剩下的选项中如何去排除呢？要知道其中还有两个是干扰项，此时最好把44题下面的段落也看下,特别是第一句，结果发现这一句就是一段，这时可以先找关键词：science,society,reclassifying…在这段中没有出现\\”\\”之类的词，主题变了，此时再看下选项其中D项提到American,government,gambling,明显主题不同，G项出现了online,government,internet..这个也不同。只有F项是以society为主语来展开说明，这就和下一段呼应了，因此答案是F项。

45题的上一句已经是44题的解题线索，所以基本对解45题无用，从上文的分析来看可以说半毛钱关系也没有。看多了反而会干扰，因此把重点放在最后一段。

如果你能看懂最后一段的第一句话，恭喜你，应该能解出该题了，但要注意不要再读第2、3句了，因为会干扰你，还浪费时间和精力。

如果你看不懂第一句，甚至不知\\”wagering\\”或\\”revenues\\”何意。那么至少要知道：

\\”state\\”，它反复出现了多次，那么这个\\”state\\”指的是哪里的，只要有这个意识答案就会锁定在D项，因为\\”American\\”反复出现在D项关键处。
